How to play

Tap a square to start typing, and tap it again to switch between across and down. Tap a clue to jump to its word, or use the arrows beside the clue above the grid. Check a word or the whole grid to see wrong letters marked in red, or reveal a letter when you're stuck.

The puzzles: Each grid holds fifteen to twenty New Hampshire answers that cross each other where they share a letter. Answers of more than one word are run together, so Live Free or Die goes in as LIVEFREEORDIE.
Checking: Check word and Check all mark wrong letters with a red slash and leave the right ones alone. Fix a letter and the mark goes away.
Revealing: Reveal letter fills in the square you're on, and Reveal word fills in the whole answer. Revealed letters show a green corner and can't be changed. When you finish, the result says how many letters were revealed.
The clock: The clock starts with your first letter, stops while the tab is in the background, and stops for good when the last square is right.
