Granite Groups
Sixteen words, four hidden groups of four. Some groups are New Hampshire through and through, like notches, lakes and town meeting, and some are wordplay anyone can get. A few words always seem to fit two groups, so look before you submit. There's a new puzzle every day, the same for everyone, and the last two weeks are here too.

Tap four words you think belong together, then tap Submit. A right group turns into a colored band with its name. Shuffle mixes up the words that are left, which helps you see them fresh, and Hint names one of the groups you haven't found.
- The groups
- Every puzzle has exactly one answer: four groups of four words. The groups run from plain to tricky, and the band colors show it, from mint for the plainest to leaf green, gold and maple for the trickiest.
- Mistakes
- You can make four mistakes. If three of your four words belong together, you'll see One away. Trying the same four words twice doesn't count against you. After a fourth mistake the rest of the answers are shown.
- Hints
- A hint names one group you haven't found yet, starting with the plainest. You still have to find its four words.
- Today and past days
- Everyone gets the same puzzle on the same New Hampshire date. Past days holds the last two weeks, so you can catch up on any you missed. Your progress stays on your device.
