Missed a day? Past answers and hints

Seven letters sit on maple leaves, one in the center. Spell as many words as you can from them, each with the center letter, and climb through a sugaring season from Tap to Sugar Maker. Every puzzle has at least one word that uses all seven letters. There's a new puzzle each day, the same for everyone, and the last two weeks stay open to play. Your progress stays on your device.

How to play

Tap the leaves to spell a word, then tap Enter. Delete takes back the last letter. The round button shuffles the six outer leaves, which can help you see a new word. Tap the found words bar to open your list.

Words
Words have four or more letters, use only the seven letters on the leaves and always include the center letter. A letter can be used more than once. The puzzles leave out S, so there are no plurals, and the word list sticks to common words.
Points
A four-letter word is worth 1 point. Longer words get a point for each letter. A word that uses all seven letters is a full run, worth 7 points more. Every puzzle has at least one.
Ranks
Your rank goes by your share of the day's points: Tap, Drip, Bucket, Sap House, Boiling, Amber, Syrup (half the points), Grade A, and Sugar Maker for finding every word.
Hints
A hint shows the first two letters and the length of a word you haven't found, starting with the shortest.
Today
Today's puzzle is the same for everyone on the same day in New Hampshire, and a new one starts at midnight Eastern time. Yesterday's answers are a tap away, and the last 14 days can be played under Past days.
Questions

About Sap Run

Is Sap Run free?

Yes. Sap Run is free to play in your browser, with no account and nothing to download.

When does the daily puzzle change?

A new puzzle starts at midnight New Hampshire time (Eastern time), and everyone gets the same one on the same date. If you have the page open at midnight, reload it to get the new one. Yesterday's answers are a tap away.

Can I play past puzzles?

Yes. The last 14 days can be played under Past days.

What words count?

Words of four or more letters, made only from the seven letters on the leaves and always using the center one. Letters can be used more than once. The puzzles leave out S, so there are no plurals.

How is it scored?

A four-letter word is worth 1 point and a longer word gets 1 point per letter. A word that uses all seven letters is worth 7 points more. Your rank goes by your share of the day's points, from Tap up to Sugar Maker for finding every word.

How do hints work?

A hint shows the first two letters and the length of a word you haven't found, starting with the shortest. If you see a hint count, each puzzle comes with three hints, and a short ad adds three more when they run out. If there's no ad to show, you get the hint anyway.
